Miss Beauty is trying so very hard to walk. Today has been wonderful for playing, painting, listening to amazing music, cleaning up, organizing, and walking (or trying). Natalie and I were listening to music, dancing, singing, and just having a wonderful day...I grabbed her little hands and began strolling her around the house which she loved so much....I was walking backwards as Miss Beauty took her long strides to keep up holding my hands....I tripped a bit on an area rug and fell down...Miss Beauty fell right on her Mommy and we both laughed...we collided.
I'm not sure what it was in that moment, or if it's just the day...this little girl is a blessing...both of my children are....but, something about today with Miss Natalie brought me so much happiness. There's a very unique bond a mother and daughter share (just as Aiden and I have a uniqueness that Natalie and I will never have)....I did with my Mother, and here I am...God has blessed me with a daughter that I need to guide...as I took her small hands to lead her around the house so much rushed over me. It'll be my job to teach her how to be a woman, a lady (yes, a lady is different than a woman), my job to teach her to love a man properly, teach her to be a good baby sister, teach her to cook (I better start learning myself!!), my job to teach her about beauty....about faith...
Thank you God for allowing Miss Beauty and I to collide....thank you for her beautiful smile today....her constant "hi's," thank you for the gift of my daughter.
