It is in my weakness, that I am the strongest. Hum...an interesting concept isn't it. Has anyone ever dealt with...
*harsh words from others
*jealousy
*scowls
*a mean spouse or ex spouse?
*feeling defeated as a parent?
*feeling overwhelmed?
*resentment?
*confusion
*uncertainty?
*illness?
*grief?
Haven't we all? I would dare to say that if you actually answered "no" to any of these you are not being truly honest with yourself. We've all been in a place where we've felt weak, someone or something, or a series of events might have brought us to our breaking point...a point where we are just running on fumes, and mental as well as physical exhaustion has just taken over. I've been there before...and by before I mean MANY times. I've been exhausted, I've been heartbroken, I've been lost, I've been jealous. I just have. I've allowed others to control my thoughts and actions, too. It's a bondage that really we ALLOW others or situations to place us in. We often hand over power over our thoughts and actions without even realizing it, and in turn we hand over our happiness and joy....we allow things to rob us of our happiness and joy.
But, the wonderful news is that we can regain power over our thoughts, and we can reclaim happiness and joy, but, we must first realize that our God is mighty. He really is. And, when we are at that weak point, when we feel like we just cannot keep meddling through WE CAN, because when we are at our weakest, if we will recognize and knowledge Him...our God is at his strongest. He lives in us, and He can give us the strength, and courage to stand up and keep going. Not only can He give us the strength, and courage to keep going...He can give us the strength, and courage to THRIVE while we press forward and reclaim our joy and happiness.
So, fall on Him. In your weakness remember you have the backing of a very mighty God that wants nothing less than wonderful things for you...
