I am royalty. I am. I really am. I'm worthy of wonderful things, and I am a The King's daughter. I am a princess. I'm a part of a royal family.
A friend of mine I spoke with yesterday explained some things to me that I had never quite put into perspective. She said, "do you know you deserve amazing things because you are royalty?" "You are a princess, and you are a part of a royal family." Ha...I said, "no." She explained to me that I am the daughter of the most high King, God. I am one of his children, and I am really really special to him...in fact, he knows every hair on my head, and HE made me with precision and He took time to mold me exactly how He wants me. I'm THAT special. I am wonderfully made. I'm God's creation.
I often forget that. I often get so caught up in what I am not that I forget how special I really am.
So, this friend of mine gave me a gift I will treasure for so very long. This crystal you see in the picture, hanging by a purple ribbon. It is to remind me that I am beautiful, much like the crystal...each little facet of me in made exactly how God wanted it, and the purple ribbon is to remind me that I am royalty. What adds more to this picture for me is the little hand reaching out for it. This is Miss Natalie reaching for my reminder that I am royalty. I love that...I hope I can guide her to always feel that special...to remind her she too is made as a princess.
