We've been cat-napping off and on, doing laundry, grocery shopping, and just getting settled. Falling back into some degree of normalcy has been just wonderful for us post vacation.
This evening my Rob went out to the workshop and built our porch swing prototype! It's amazing to me that within less than an hour he was knocking on the back door calling me out to sit in what will be something like our porch swing! Yippe!
I must also tell you that we have yet to unveil who took care of our yard, and flowers while we were away. We've asked everyone we know to ask and are honestly just boggled. So, whomever you are....if you read my little blog...speak up!!! We owe you a big thank you!! And, I need to tell you that whatever you did to my plants caused them to flourish!!! What was once dead-or well on it's way to being dead is alive and just beautiful!
Perk of today...walking at the zoo with my husband. I love just walking with him. We talk, and talk...and we talk. I love our little talks...I will never forget them. I love that we do talk. I know many people who never truly talk with their spouse...I'm blessed, because sometimes I just do not shut-up!
Home is not where you live but where they understand you.
